Viable Design-Build was established by Dave Whyte, a successful construction professional with a career that spans 30 years in building multi-family residential projects, including retail and hotel developments. The company offers value engineering, design-build services, pre-construction, and construction of a wide array of projects anchored on a high level of knowledge and vast professional experience.

After graduating from the University of Maryland, Dave started building single-family homes and townhouses, successfully delivering them to satisfied clients. In 1996, he joined Paradigm construction and had a breakthrough in his career where he entered D.C.’s emerging Multi-Family construction market. Through this experience, Dave gained a broader perspective and a deeper understanding of all aspects of Construction Management including building relationships with key sub-contractors and industry preferred suppliers.

Dave Whyte’s broad expertise allowed him to successfully handle multiple projects. In 2009, he was promoted to President of Construction. Under Dave’s stewardship, Paradigm Construction continued to strengthen its position as an industry leader and achieve significant milestones. His construction teams of more than 100 members over 10 years astoundingly completed over 50 urban and mixed-use multi-family construction projects.

Today, Dave’s vision of delivering quality and cost-effective projects continues to be the driving force behind Viable Design-Build.
